This book will include articles on the programming and guest biographies, as well as useful convention information, and will become a commemorative item. Banners/Signs
There will be various signs and banners placed in conspicous places in the main "foyer" area of the convention, visible to ALL convention-goers. Banners and signs will be printed in colour, mounted by our staff, and may be custom-sized up to the maximum area purchased.

Registration Insert
Each attending registrant will receive a Registration Package Tote Bag, which includes their convention tickets, the Official Program Book, the latest issue of In Fellowship (the Gathering Journal), and these miscellaneous inserts that may be purchased.
The insert may be a pamphlet, flyer, book—anything that can fit in the Registration Package Tote Bag, and adequate quantities must be provided by the purchaser before the deadline (to be announced). $50 USD per insert

There will be an unsupervised table available for flyers and pamphlets of any sort in the main "foyer" area of the convention, freely accessible to all convention-goers.

Convention Booths and Tables
The Gathering of the Fellowship Convention will have a central area reserved for vendors and dealers, which will be open to all attendees. Tickets will also be sold to the public for admittance into this area, with promotional advertising and signage, creating a paid-entry shopping mall on the long holiday weekend. Booths and tables will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and should be reserved with a payment as soon as possible.

This package is designed for large vendors. Each booth includes the following:
  • Attending Registrations (as described on the Registration page) available at a reduced rate
  • Unlimited number of complimentary Staff Passes (dealer room access only; must be arranged prior to event)

  • One (1) draped 8' table, with 2 chairs

This package is designed for smaller vendors/dealers. Each table includes the following:

  • Limited access to electrical power, NO telephone access

FAN TABLE
Fan groups/clubs, websites, non-profit organizations, mailing lists, and other convention/event representatives may reserve a fan table in our main foyer area to promote their organization. Each table includes the following:
  • One (1) draped 8' table, with 1 chair
  • Limited access to electrical power, NO telephone access
Fan tables must be manned by the group at least 75% of the operating hours of the dealer room. Activities and contests may be conducted at the table, and promotional merchandise may be given away. Donations may be collected, but there can be no selling of any kind. Group members must purchase their own Attending Registrations or Single-day tickets.

The various sections are described below:
  • Booths A: This section is the highest profile area, in the large open foyer of the Sheraton Centre Main Ballroom, at the bottom of the escalators, which serves as the primary “entrance” to the convention. This area is where the autograph sessions will be conducted, attracting the highest volume of traffic and attention. The area is also visible from the concourse level (at the top of the escalators), so that passers-by on the PATH (public mall) can see your booth before actually buying a day-pass. The only drawback is that the area is not lockable; however, it will be patrolled by hired security 24 hours throughout the event.
  • Booths B: This section offers the advantage of a typical closed vendor room area, in that it is within a sectioned-off portion of the Grand Ballroom, with controlled access and lockable in the off-hours. It will also be patrolled by security. A directory sign listing the vendors within will be placed immediately outside the main entrance to this room.
  • Dealer Tables E,F,G,H,J: These areas are reserved for Dealer Tables. They have the distinct advantage of every one of them having a hard wall behind them, and are located in high-traffic areas. Washrooms are located conveniently in the Dealer Tables H area, which also attracts traffic. Like the Booths A section, the area is not lockable, but will be patrolled by 24 hour security.
  • Fan Tables C & D: These tables are located in the immediate foyer for the Grand Ballroom, and are reserved for fan groups only. Sales of merchandise are not allowed.

Sponsorship Opportunities
The Gathering of the Fellowship Convention is a charity event, and all proceeds will be donated to ProLiteracy Worldwide, benefitting adult literacy throughout the United States and the world. The Gathering promises to be a unique event attracting over 1,000 attendees from all over the world, all drawn to intelligent study and discussion of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Following on the heals of the critically-acclaimed first Gathering convention in December 2003, this event is sure to surpass it in quality and integrity. The Edain were Tolkien's representation of Men—ourselves—in his world. This is the Gathering's basic sponsorship level, ideal for individuals or smaller organizations wishing to promote themselves with a modest donation. Edain Sponsorship includes the following:

The Eldar were the First-born Elves of Tolkien's world, ancient, wise, and immortal. Maiar Sponsorship
The Maiar spirits were present in all of Middle-earth in Tolkien's world. They were as integral to the foundation of creation as are the air, earth, and water of all that exists. As a Maiar Sponsor, you will share that intergral connection with the Gathering event. This sponsorship level includes:
  • Two (2) Mithril Packages (as described on the Registration page; includes Attending Registration, Banquet tickets, LOTR on Stage tickets, and Movie Marathon tickets)

Our highest level of sponsorship is represented as Valar level; this is fitting since the Valar in Tolkien's world were the gods of creation, one step below the almighty God. This level includes:
